BIOREDOX® PA Cold Sterilant is a peracetic acid formulation originally developed for use on reverse osmosis (RO) membranes and their associated distribution systems. Over 5 years ago, the application of this formulation was expanded to use in a dry fog for use in cleanroom spaces.
BIOREDOX PA Cold Sterilant is a powerful oxidant that stops organism growth by oxidizing microbial cell proteins and enzyme systems. BIOREDOX PA Cold Sterilant is effective against a wide range of organisms, including Staphylococcus aureus, influenza A, and endospores such as Bacillus subtilis.
Besides being among the most efficacious disinfectants, BIOREDOX PA Cold Sterilant is environmentally friendly. Unlike chlorine and aldehyde disinfectants, BIOREDOX PA Cold Sterilant impact on the environment is minimal because it quickly breaks down after use. BIOREDOX PA Cold Sterilant is biodegradable and will decompose into oxygen, water and acetic acid.
